Launchpad user light
Launchpad user light: How to disable it?
I want to share this time with a special function with my suscribers, with it you can disable the user light in your launchpad while playing a cover.
In YouTube are some videos about thi, buy like explained in Internet, if you try to repeat the same steps you will need external plugins, devices, apps ...
Now I will show you a method that you don't need external plugins and devices to work All that you will need is Ableton Live.
In different models of launchpads can be different, but very similiar to this one:
*of course! I will use a launchpad mk2*
Ok, let's start!
1.Make your Ableton live project like always
2. Go to user mode on the Launchpad
3. On the channel oh lights, arrange a new MIDI effect rack at the front
4. Enable MIDI learn mode
5. Map the user button to one of the macro potentiometer of the MIDI effect rack
6. Keep the settings like this: min: 000 , max: 127
7. Disable MIDI learn mode
8. Tap fastly the user button
AND ... DISABLED THE USER LIGHT OF THE USER BUTTON!
If for some reason this not works in your launchpad and computer, put in the comments!
